Beauty Time!
The keys to getting super skin, healthy hair, and looking lovely. Our diet influences our health, how we feel and how we look. What we eat today you wear tomorrow. Even the most expensive skin and haircare products cannot improve poor skin and hair without help from your diet.
Take these tips into consideration when trying to achieve that radiant skin and nourished hair!
- Stay away from pre-packeged foods much as possible: creates pasty skin and lifeless hair
- Eat Antioxidant-rich foods. Uncooked, highly coloured fresh fruit and vegetables are the best places to find antioxidants:
- Berries, brazil nuts, broccoli, cheeries, carrots, chestnuts, hazelnuts, kale, raisins, papaya, peas, peppers, prunes, spinich, sweet potatoes, tomatoes
- Tiredness, stress, smoking, and alcohol deprive your body of nutrients and energy. Get enough sleep, relax, and limit use of cigarettes and alcohol.
2. Healthy Hair! Hair benefits from…
- Vitamin B Complex (milk, oily fish, eggs, bananas, whole grains, peanut butter)
- Antioxidant vitamins (look above)
- Selenium (cereals, meat, seafood, cheese, eggs, mushrooms, nuts, beans, whole grains)
- Zinc (Seafood, red meat, turkey, cheese, eggs, brewer’s yeast, whole grains, seeds, mushrooms)
For silky, shiny hair: Drink plenty of water ![]()
For hair growth: eat lean protein and green vegetables for iron
For hair flexibility: eat oily fish
- Exfoliate!
- Why? Stimulates circulation for all-over body glow, encourages elimination of toxins, helps break up/prevent cellulite, Sloughs away dead skin cells, clears the pores to prevent spots and blemishes, promotes a new, smooth skin surface
- How? Combine rock salt (can find at any grocery store) and 2 tablespoons of olive or seseme oil to create a scrub. In a warm bathroom, apply your body scrub by massaging in circular movements all over.
- Hydrotherapy Shower (is a little easier!)
- Begin by showering for 2 minutes in warm to hot water and then turn it to cold water for 30 seconds. Repeat this process 3 times.
- Will find your whole body tingling with vitality and will experience increased energy throughout the day

I think it is best to use all natural products when available. I would try to stay away from the big brands they tend to buy the least expensive ingrediants and sell thier products for the most money.
